About the role#
As a QC Lab Intern at the Covestro facility in Frankfort, Indiana, you will support daily laboratory operations and ongoing projects. This role involves working on the production of large-scale waterborne acrylic emulsions used in coatings and adhesives. You will work under general supervision, gaining independence as you complete your training.
What you'll do#
- Perform polymer emulsion quality control testing, including GC, viscometer, pH, solids, and particle size analysis.
- Calibrate and verify laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate data and records.
- Follow all laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor degree program in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology for the Summer 2027 term.
- Completion of at least your freshman year of college.
- Knowledge of basic chemistry and safe work habits in a lab environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- This position is located in Frankfort, Indiana.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- The assignment runs for three months during the Summer of 2027, from May to August.
