About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Scottsdale, Arizona. You will support our tax and wealth advisory teams by assisting with tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals. The internship runs from January 13, 2027, to April 15, 2027. You are expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on-site.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns, estimated tax vouchers, extension forms, and supporting work papers.
- Organize and maintain client tax files and electronic records.
- Reconcile client information and review tax documents for accuracy.
- Conduct basic tax research and gather information for inquiries.
- Collaborate with tax and wealth advisory teams on client service initiatives.
- Participate in training sessions, associate meetings, and professional development programs.
- Support administrative and compliance tasks.
- Follow firm quality control procedures and maintain client confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor or master degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date within 24 months of the internship start date.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through work or extracurricular activities.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or tax principles.
- Strong aptitude for working with numbers and performing accurate calculations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Eagerness to learn and ask questions.
