This internship supports the Development Team at Make-A-Wish Alabama. The role focuses on the planning and execution of special events, individual giving initiatives, and corporate alliances.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Development Team with planning special events.
- Obtain quotes for event-related needs.
- Utilize the donor database to pull and manage information.
- Conduct research to support development goals.
- Solicit silent auction items.
- Manage mass emailing communications.
- Communicate with vendors, donors, and wish families via phone.
- Perform data entry tasks.
- Attend select after-hours and weekend events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Public Health.
