About the role#

This internship supports the Development Team at Make-A-Wish Alabama. The role focuses on the planning and execution of special events, individual giving initiatives, and corporate alliances.

What you'll do#

Assist the Development Team with planning special events.
Obtain quotes for event-related needs.
Utilize the donor database to pull and manage information.
Conduct research to support development goals.
Solicit silent auction items.
Manage mass emailing communications.
Communicate with vendors, donors, and wish families via phone.
Perform data entry tasks.
Attend select after-hours and weekend events.

What you'll need#

Current enrollment in a degree program related to Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Public Health.
