About the role#
Make-A-Wish Alabama is seeking an Events Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This role supports the Development Team with the planning and execution of special events, individual giving initiatives, and corporate alliances.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Development Team with planning special events.
- Obtain quotes for event services.
- Utilize the donor database to pull information.
- Conduct research to support development efforts.
- Solicit silent auction items.
- Manage mass emailing campaigns.
- Communicate with vendors, donors, and wish families via phone.
- Perform data entry tasks.
- Attend select after-hour and weekend events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Public Health.
- Ability to work on-site.
