About the role#
The Mission Delivery Intern supports the Wish Team by managing essential administrative tasks and coordinating aspects of the wish-granting process. This role involves direct interaction with families, medical professionals, and volunteers to ensure the smooth execution of mission-related activities.
What you'll do#
- Manage electronic filing systems and maintain physical records by faxing, scanning, and filing documents.
- Perform database entry to keep participant and vendor information accurate.
- Communicate with families, health care professionals, donors, and volunteers via phone and email.
- Research specific wish details and identify potential vendors.
- Make solicitation calls to secure information and donations.
- Assist with the logistics of wish visits and wish celebrations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program, preferably in Psychology, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing files and database records.
- Ability to communicate professionally with diverse groups, including families and medical staff.
