About the role#
This internship supports the PR and Communications team at Make-A-Wish Alabama. You will assist with social media implementation, digital projects, design, event support, and media relations. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Plan and create content for social media channels.
- Schedule social media posts using Hootsuite.
- Write wish stories and other public-facing content.
- Photograph wish reveals and internal events.
- Coordinate with media contacts and local photographers.
- Draft press releases for events and wish reveals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Marketing or Communications program.
Location & details#
- This role is hybrid and remote.
- The term is for Winter 2027.
