About the role#
Make-A-Wish Alabama is hiring an Operations Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Birmingham, Alabama. You will work directly with the operations team to support day-to-day administrative and organizational functions.
What you'll do#
You will handle a variety of administrative tasks to keep the office running. Your responsibilities include:
- Maintaining mail logs and assisting with mail opening
- Processing check requests and assisting with budget-related tasks
- Performing data entry and database updates
- Scanning and filing documents
- Providing support to the Board of Directors
- Managing scheduling needs
- Logging donations
- Learning human resources procedures and how a corporate credit card program functions
What you'll need#
This role is open to students pursuing degrees in Business Administration or Operations Management.

This internship is located on-site in Birmingham, Alabama. It is a full-time commitment for the Summer 2027 term.
