About the role#
Make-A-Wish Alabama is hiring a Mission Delivery Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Birmingham, Alabama.
What you'll do#
You will support the Wish Team with daily mission delivery tasks. Your work involves managing active wish files and keeping our electronic filing system organized. You will handle administrative duties like database entry, faxing, and scanning documents.
Communication is a large part of this role. You will talk with families, medical professionals, donors, and volunteers by phone and email. You will also research specific wish details and contact potential vendors to solicit information or donations. Additionally, you will help coordinate logistics for wish visits and celebrations.
