About the role#
Make-A-Wish Alabama is looking for a PR & Marketing Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with the PR and Communications team on projects including digital content, design, event support, and media relations. This is a paid, full-time internship.
What you'll do#
- Plan and create content for social media channels.
- Schedule social media posts using Hootsuite.
- Write wish stories and other materials for public use.
- Take photographs at wish reveals and internal events.
- Coordinate with media contacts and local photographers.
- Draft press releases for wish reveals and other organizational events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.
Location & details#
- This position is hybrid and remote.
- The internship takes place during Summer 2027.
