About the role#
This internship supports the Development Team with the planning and execution of special events, individual giving, and corporate alliances. This position is a paid, full-time opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute special events.
- Solicit items for silent auctions.
- Manage mass email communications.
- Communicate with vendors, donors, and wish families via phone calls.
- Perform data entry and maintain information in the donor database.
- Obtain quotes for event needs.
- Conduct research to support development projects.
- Attend select after-hour and weekend events.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Communications, or Marketing.
- Ability to assist the Development Team with daily operations.

- This role is based in Alabama and operates on a hybrid schedule.
- The term for this internship is Summer 2027.
