About the role#
The Events Intern will join the Spring 2027 internship class to support the Employee Experience and Events team. This role focuses on the execution of a significant supporter event in Washington, DC, scheduled for May 2027. You will report to the Director of Events and contribute to various operational projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Employee Experience and Events team with project execution.
- Review and adapt travel best practices for staff.
- Handle administrative coordination for Arlington Office operations.
- Conduct vendor research to support event planning.
- Complete other projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Completed at least two years of undergraduate study.
- At least one prior professional internship or significant leadership experience.
- Experience in event management.
- Ability to commit to 40 hours per week during standard business hours.
- Design experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Business Administration, Communications, Graphic Design, or Marketing is relevant to the work.
- A mature orthodox Christian faith.
Location & details#
- This position is based in the District of Columbia.
- The work modality is hybrid, with an option for onsite work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- The internship term runs from January 11, 2027, to May 7, 2027.
- This is a full-time, unpaid volunteer role that provides a monthly stipend to help defray expenses.
