About the role#
Make-A-Wish Alabama is seeking a Mission Delivery Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Birmingham, Alabama.
What you'll do#
You will support the Wish Team in all aspects of mission delivery. Your daily tasks include managing wish files, entering data into our systems, and handling administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, and filing. You will maintain our electronic filing system and assist with the logistics of wish visits and celebrations.
Communication is a core component of this role. You will act as a liaison between families, medical professionals, volunteers, and donors. You will also conduct research on specific wishes and vendors, and make calls to solicit information and donations.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students pursuing degrees in Psychology, Public Health, Business Administration, Communications, Nursing, Health Administration, Sociology, or Marketing. You should be comfortable managing wish files, performing database entry, and communicating professionally with families and medical staff.

This internship is located in Birmingham, Alabama. It is an on-site, full-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role.
