About the role#
Mackenzie Investments is hiring an intern for the Canadian Equities team. This is a full-time summer position based in Winnipeg. You will work 37.5 hours per week from May to August 2027. This role is open to students who are returning to their studies in September 2027.
What you'll do#
- Conduct equity research on various companies.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative attributes of businesses.
- Build and maintain company financial models.
- Synthesize research findings to help develop investment recommendations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- A strong interest in capital markets and the investment process.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Practical experience with financial modeling.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage time-sensitive tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba.
- Modality: Hybrid, with three days per week in the office.
- Compensation: This is a paid position with an expected salary range of $68,250 to $78,000 per year, prorated for the term.
