About the role#
The Portfolio Strategy, Research, Governance and Oversight team is hiring a full-time intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will work from our Toronto office to support data infrastructure, reporting, and product technology initiatives. This role involves working cross-functionally to provide insights that strengthen our core business.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain a product database for reporting and analysis.
- Create and automate reports for your team, the division, and senior leadership.
- Develop a web server to provide self-serve dashboards and insights.
- Construct automated data pipelines for scheduling and orchestration.
- Join architecture discussions regarding new functionality.
- Handle ad hoc data requests and collaborate with associates across the division.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate program in finance, computer science, or computer engineering, with plans to return to school in 2027.
- Proficiency in Python (Jupyter, pandas, flask), SQL, and Javascript (Reactjs).
- Knowledge of financial instruments and the investment industry.
- Skills in financial math, statistics, or machine learning.
- Ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and solve non-recurring problems.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Work Modality: Hybrid (three days per week in the office).
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
