About the role#
Mackenzie Investments is hiring an Intern Analyst for the Investment Management Resources team for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours per week from May through August. You will report to the Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager while gaining experience in the diversified resource sector.
What you'll do#
- Establish quantitative and qualitative measurement standards for sustainable development within the natural resources investment universe.
- Research and document various investment thematic projects.
- Review existing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a master’s degree program in science, business, economics, or renewable energy studies.
- A completed bachelor’s degree in science, math, statistics, psychology, agriculture, physics, chemistry, engineering, economics, or energy studies.
- Functional knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- A basic understanding of financial markets and an interest in the energy transition are considered assets.

- This role is based in Toronto, Ontario.
- The work modality is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
