About the role#
The Sales Intern supports the Sales and Marketing team at M/I Homes. You will assist with the sales process, including lead generation, community management, and the development of marketing materials. This role provides an opportunity to learn how to manage sales generation, build relationships with home buyers and realtors, and handle the documentation required for the home-buying process.
What you'll do#
- Support New Home Consultants throughout the sales and selection process.
- Represent the company in a professional manner.
- Prepare model homes to ensure they are ready for visitors.
- Assist with presentations given to realtors.
- Process website updates to support the inventory home marketing program.
- Create and distribute flyers to customers and realtors for events and open houses.
- Perform administrative tasks like updating pricing and maintaining sales materials.
- Conduct market analysis and research on local competition.
- Help plan and host marketing events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program or recent graduation in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or Real Estate.
- Solid understanding of marketing techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- A desire to learn and take direction quickly.
