About the role#
This is a paid, rotational internship designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple departments. You will gain insight into the entire process of building communities and homes while exploring career paths in construction, land acquisition, sales, and development. The program is flexible, allowing you to focus on specific areas of interest.
What you'll do#
- Inspect homes during various construction phases to monitor quality, workflow, and completion.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, manage schedules, and ensure materials and equipment are available.
- Act as a liaison between construction management and subcontractors to report and resolve issues.
- Support land acquisition by analyzing markets, preparing project budgets, and inspecting potential sites.
- Assist with land development schedules and attend public meetings.
- Help the sales team by registering customers, managing the Pivotal system, and preparing marketing materials for events and realtors.
- Maintain model homes to ensure they are ready for customer visits.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Associate or Bachelor degree program in a related field.
