About the role#
The Technology Intern position provides students with professional experience within the Corporate Technology department. Interns work on tasks and projects that support various business areas, including Retail Technology, Corporate Technology, and Technology Services. This program includes a mentor program, classroom skills-based training, and a formal presentation to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects that address the needs of the Corporate Technology department.
- Participate in tours of multiple business operations.
- Engage in Q&A sessions with company executives.
- Take part in community volunteering activities.
- Receive structured performance feedback throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a four-year university program as a sophomore or above.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in an office environment, including prolonged sitting and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Previous internship experience is considered a plus but is not required.
