About the role#
The HR Data Analytics Intern will support the Human Resources department by performing tasks and projects that contribute to business operations. This position offers a learning opportunity to gain professional experience while developing analytical insights that drive value for the organization.
What you'll do#
- Utilize tools including Power BI, Excel, and SAP Reporting Products to conduct analytics and visualize data.
- Develop reports and recommendations to guide strategic business decisions.
- Create data sets and visualizations to support HR initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to support various projects.
- Engage in program activities such as executive Q&A sessions, community volunteering, social networking, and instructor-led training.
- Provide a formal presentation to leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a four-year university program as a sophomore or higher.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or MIS.
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work well in a team.
- Past internship experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as prolonged sitting, occasional bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
