About the role#
Concentric is seeking an intern to focus on AI workflow optimization during the Fall 2026 term. This role sits at the intersection of applied AI, business operations, and workforce research. You will work across departments to identify inefficiencies and build automation solutions that drive productivity. This position is a hands-on learning experience that also serves as a research pilot to inform future AI workforce training models.
What you'll do#
- Map and analyze current workflows across the company to find repetitive or inefficient processes.
- Design and implement AI-driven solutions, including custom agents and prompt-based systems.
- Test, refine, and deploy new AI use cases for tasks like data summarization, research, and document creation.
- Maintain a daily log of your activities, including tools used, challenges, and time saved.
- Contribute to a final internship report or presentation that summarizes your outcomes and recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to support the adoption of new processes and tools.
What you'll need#
- A curious and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Genuine interest in automation and business optimization.
- Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting.
- Familiarity with Google Suite tools.
- Ability to work independently and document your work rigorously.
- Pursuing studies in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or Cybersecurity.
