About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain insight into how our organization operates within the healthcare sector. You will report to a department manager or director and gain practical experience in cybersecurity administration. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
You will support the IT Cybersecurity team with administrative and technical tasks. Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with risk assessments and tracking risks or issues.
- Building metrics for cybersecurity governance.
- Supporting projects related to Identity Access Management, Third Party Risk Management, and Vulnerability Management.
- Assisting with remediation projects for medical devices.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma is required.
- Current standing as a college Junior or Senior is preferred, with a focus on Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in computer use and software programs including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to perform basic math, process information accurately, and interpret policies.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with others in person and over the phone.
- The ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Location & details#
This role is based on-site in the United States. You must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed.
