About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Project Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027 to join the Hot Section Engineering (HSE) Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) team. This role is based in East Hartford, Connecticut. You will work on-site to support engineering project tasks and team goals.
What you'll do#
- Support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) with field investigations, development hardware management, validation testing, and production delivery.
- Manage engineering tasks by creating schedules and tracking progress.
- Develop review packages for engineering changes.
- Assist in the creation of risk management plans.
- Collaborate with team members to meet requirements and program goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with project management tools like MS Project, Smartsheets, Jira, or Confluence (gained through coursework, research, or work experience).
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
