About the role#
As a Software Development Intern at DV Commodities, you will work in small groups alongside our development and trading teams. You will build low-latency applications, systems, and trading tools that directly impact our operations. This role focuses on delivering self-contained projects within our production codebase and learning how to integrate new functionality into mature systems.
What you'll do#
- Build low-latency applications and trading tools.
- Deliver well-scoped projects within the existing production codebase.
- Integrate new functionality with mature systems.
- Use AI tools to speed up development while taking ownership of your code.
- Grow your technical skills and learn how our technology stack supports our trading teams.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C++, Python, or other general-purpose programming languages.
- Ability to navigate an existing codebase and complete a contained project.
- Experience using AI coding tools, paired with the ability to review generated code for correctness.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
