About the role#
This is a full-time Mechanical Engineer Intern position for Summer 2027 based in Marlborough, Massachusetts. You will join the Tactical Radars & Effectors department to support the hardware development, production, and deployment of defense products, including Tactical Radars, Effectors, and Command and Control Systems. This role requires working on-site.
What you'll do#
- Apply mechanical engineering fundamentals to solve design challenges.
- Utilize CAD software for mechanical engineering design tasks.
- Create and update technical documentation packages.
- Complete drawing designs and operate engineering equipment.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams and confer with stakeholders on projects.
- Provide support to manufacturing and production operations.
- Apply internal hardware design processes and tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Proficiency with CAD software, specifically CREO.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
