About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Software Engineering Internship for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based on-site in McKinney, Texas. Please note that U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
What you'll do#
- Support all phases of the software development life cycle as part of a multi-disciplined team.
- Contribute to military and commercial programs ranging from initial concept and requirements to design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance.
- Develop creative solutions to complex technical system and software integration challenges.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineers to design solutions focused on end-user and operational requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience in the development, testing, and integration of real-time software applications.
- Proficiency with Visual Studio or other integrated development environments is preferred.
