About the role#
This internship offers college students an introduction to careers in healthcare and academic administration. You will gain hands-on training within specific departments at Loma Linda University Health. The program is a full-time, paid opportunity for students to explore professional paths in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
- Receive training in healthcare administration.
- Support teams in Finance and Accounting.
- Assist with Physician Practice Administration.
- Contribute to projects in Public Relations and Marketing.
- Help with Process Improvement, Revenue Cycle, and Risk Management tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- A field of study in Business, Communications, or a related area.
- Membership in the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
- Ability to use standard office software like Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to organize tasks, solve problems, and work independently.

- Term: Summer 2027 (program dates include May 24 to August 6 or June 28 to September 10).
