About the role#
The Student FWS position supports the hiring department with daily operations and various tasks. This is a paid, on-site role for current students at Loma Linda University.
What you'll do#
- Assist the department with daily duties as assigned.
- Handle additional tasks as the department needs arise.
- Communicate and collaborate with team members in a professional manner.
- Manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current LLU student.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- One year of experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve problems.
- Capability to handle basic math and statistical functions.
- Ability to work calmly and courteously under pressure.
- Must understand and embrace the mission, purpose, and identity of Loma Linda University Health.
