About the role#
This is a student Federal Work-Study (FWS) position at Loma Linda University Health. The role involves supporting the hiring department with general administrative tasks and various duties as assigned. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Assist the department with daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Provide leadership and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, rules, and laws.
- Enforce policies consistently and assertively.
- Maintain a calm demeanor and respond courteously when working under pressure.
- Collaborate with team members and accept direction as needed.
- Perform basic math and statistical functions, manage multiple assignments, and organize your workload.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current LLU student.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to read, write, and speak professionally in English.
- Strong communication skills for in-person, written, and telephone interactions.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment.
- Capacity to think critically, problem-solve, and pay close attention to detail.
- Candidates must understand and embrace the mission, purpose, and identity of Loma Linda University Health.
