About the role#
This Student FWS position provides support to the hiring department through a variety of administrative and operational tasks. The role requires an individual who can maintain professional standards, enforce policies, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist the hiring department with daily operational duties.
- Provide leadership and ensure consistent enforcement of policies, regulatory standards, and laws.
- Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
- Manage multiple assignments, prioritize workloads, and problem-solve effectively.
- Perform basic math and statistical functions, compose written materials, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members and accept direction as needed.
What you'll need#
- Must be a current LLU student.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and speak professionally in English.
- Ability to think critically, work independently, and pay close attention to detail.
- Must understand and embrace the mission, purpose, and identity of Loma Linda University Health.
