About the role#
This position supports Loma Linda University Health departments with daily operations. You will assist staff with various tasks and perform additional duties as required. This is a paid, full-time role open to current students.
What you'll do#
- Assist the hiring department with assigned tasks.
- Perform other duties as needed to support team objectives.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student at Loma Linda University.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- One year of experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and office software like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment.
- Strong English communication skills for in-person, written, and telephone interactions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and prioritize your workload.
- Capacity to think critically, solve problems, and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work calmly under pressure.
- Skills to lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate with others.
- Ability to follow direction and consistently enforce policies.
- Physical ability to hear general conversation, distinguish workplace sounds, and read documents or computer screens.
