About the role#
The Aviation Maintenance Technology Department is looking for a student worker to support daily operations. This is a part-time position based in a maintenance shop environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist staff with daily maintenance shop operations.
- Help instructors and lab technicians with student projects.
- Manage specialty tools and parts inventory.
- Support instructors with grading tasks.
What you'll need#
- Completion of the Aviation Maintenance Technology Program.
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

- Location: Lynchburg, Virginia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Part-time with rolling terms.
- Compensation: Starting at $12.77 per hour.
