About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Melbourne, Florida, for 12 to 14 weeks. This role supports the Electro Optical Infrared Systems line of business, focusing on quality engineering activities.
What you'll do#
- Collect and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate quality engineering tasks across multiple programs.
- Support the inspection of incoming materials.
- Gather data and perform analysis to assist the engineering team.
- Complete technical projects and participate in various tasks to learn about engineering methods and practices.
- Support the mission and culture of the organization.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree in a STEM field.
- Completion of at least 2 years of college with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous internship or co-op experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
- U.S. Citizenship is required to access data systems.
- Ability to obtain an active DOD security clearance.
