About the role#
La Caisse is seeking a tax intern for a four-month term running from January to May 2027. Reporting to the Director of Taxation, you will support the daily operations of the tax department. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Montreal.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns and various tax forms.
- Perform data entry tasks.
- Conduct follow-ups with tax authorities.
- Support team members with corporate tax compliance tasks.
- Conduct tax research.
- Collaborate with different sectors within La Caisse on tax-related matters.
- Contribute to corporate tax projects, including process optimization and the implementation of new tools.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate studies in taxation, accounting, law, business administration, or a related field.
- A strong interest in corporate taxation.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, as you will regularly work with English-language documentation such as financial statements and market reports.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Strong sense of autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail.
- A focus on meeting deadlines and achieving results.
