About the role#
La Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec offers internship opportunities for the Summer 2027 term. This program invites students to join teams across various investment sectors, including Real Estate, Infrastructure and Natural Resources, Private Equity, and Public Markets. Interns work alongside experienced professionals to contribute to the organization's mission and gain practical experience in asset management.
What you'll do#
- Perform market monitoring to produce sector-specific research.
- Study corporate financial reports and establish comparisons.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize information to support investment recommendations.
- Produce fundamental and financial analyses, including modeling and valuation.
- Prepare presentations, write reports, and maintain dashboards.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- Practical experience in finance through internships, student committees, or student investment funds.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and business valuation models.
- Proficiency with tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite, Capital IQ, and Bloomberg.
- Excellent command of French and a good working knowledge of English.
