About the role#
This internship supports the Valorisation and Operational Partnership team within the Infrastructure group. You will work alongside operational partners and analysts on strategic initiatives for the portfolio. The role is available for a duration of four or eight months, starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the monitoring and execution of initiatives to improve asset performance, including cost reduction, restructuring, and health and safety plans.
- Assist in tracking management practices for portfolio companies, with a focus on ESG goals like energy transition and climate risk management.
- Create and formalize best practice guides for investment teams by collaborating with internal and external experts.
- Conduct research and analysis to support team action plans, such as market benchmarking and trend monitoring.
- Organize and document feedback on high-impact transactions and projects.
- Assist in the preparation of internal communication and reporting documents.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in engineering (industrial, mechanical, civil, chemical, electrical), project management, or business administration.
- Demonstrated interest in investment, energy transition, and sustainable development.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to communicate in a third language is considered an asset.
- Previous internship experience in a plant or operational consulting environment is an asset.
- A collaborative mindset, analytical rigor, and a strong sense of initiative.
