About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring for a full-time Assurance Co-op or Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a 4-month position based in our Vancouver and Langley offices. We offer a paid role that supports students working toward their CPA designation, including exam fee reimbursement and study leave options.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical knowledge from your accounting coursework to project assignments.
- Prepare working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements that meet regulatory standards.
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Respond to client requests and suggestions.
- Communicate progress updates and project issues to your team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree or diploma program.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership ability and a proactive approach to learning.
- A commitment to teamwork and providing high-quality client service.

- Locations: Vancouver and Langley, British Columbia.
- Term: Summer 2027 (starting May 2027).
- Modality: Hybrid (work occurs in the office, at client sites, and virtually).
- Compensation: $48,000 to $60,000 annually.
