About the role#
This is a four-month internship running from May to August 2027. You will report to the Senior Coordinator of Accounts Payable. Your main objective is to process invoices according to company policies and ensure reliable financial information is provided to internal clients. You will work on-site in Montreal.
What you'll do#
- Match purchase requests, purchase orders, invoices, and proof of receipt.
- Analyze discrepancies and take corrective actions.
- Process invoices and payment requests for the company and its subsidiaries, including verifying amounts, taxes, currencies, and accounting allocations.
- Resolve issues by working with relevant parties.
- Follow up with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely payments.
- Respond to inquiries from suppliers and internal departments.
- Verify daily journals related to supplier payments.
- Produce ad hoc analyses as requested by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate studies in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Strong computer skills and an interest in technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong command of French and English, both written and spoken, as you will regularly use documentation available only in English.
- A detail-oriented approach with good organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of data analysis or visualization tools like Power BI is an asset.
