About the role#
La Caisse is hiring for a four-month internship in Accounting and Financial Performance. This role starts in May 2027 and runs through August 2027. You will report to the Team Lead of Financial Performance and support operational tasks related to the annual budget process. Your work will provide key analyses to help partners perform their advisory roles within the organization.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on monthly and quarterly budget tracking, including analyzing and justifying budget variances by cost center.
- Support the team during month-end closing activities and monthly reporting.
- Perform reconciliations between accounting systems and sub-ledgers.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of business processes.
- Assist with ongoing continuous improvement initiatives and special projects, such as closing purchase orders.
What you'll need#
- Undergraduate university studies in Accounting or Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with analysis tools like Power BI.
- Excellent command of French and good proficiency in English, as you will produce written documentation for international reporting.
- Ability to synthesize information, work autonomously, and communicate effectively within a team.
- Current enrollment in the CPA program or knowledge of financial and accounting processes are considered assets.
