About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. You will work on-site in Clifton, New Jersey, on a full-time basis. This is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations documents.
- Create design and implementation plans.
- Write test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Run tests and document the results.
- Use software tools, scripts, and hardware or software troubleshooting techniques.
- Analyze system requirements provided by users and end systems.
- Present design activity plans and project status to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in systems engineering, architecture, analysis, and design.
- Knowledge of system performance modeling, project management, and integration.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering and the Rhapsody tool.
Location & details#
- The role is based in Clifton, New Jersey.
- This is an on-site position.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
