About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Systems Engineering Intern to work on-site in Salt Lake City. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term. You will work a 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours over 14 days with every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
- Analyze system requirements from end users and systems.
- Support the development and evaluation of complex system architectures and designs.
- Write test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Run tests and document your findings.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware or software troubleshooting techniques.
- Present design activity plans and status updates to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering at an accredited university.
- Coursework or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, or systems analysis and design.
- Experience or coursework in system performance modeling, integration, or project management.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering and Rhapsody.
