About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will join our team in Salt Lake City to support the design, development, and evaluation of complex system architectures. This is a full-time, paid position that follows a 9/80 schedule, meaning you work 80 hours over nine days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
- Analyze system requirements from end users and systems.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Conduct testing and document all results.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware-software troubleshooting techniques.
- Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs.
- Present design activity plans and status updates to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering at an accredited university.
- Coursework or experience in systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration, project management, or model-based systems engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
