About the role#
As a Program Finance Intern, you will support the financial activities tied to business acquisitions and program execution. You will act as a primary point of contact for billing questions and ensure that all financial processes remain compliant with contract terms.
What you'll do#
- Manage the setup, validation, and generation of complex customer invoices.
- Provide billing guidance to the Contracts and Program Finance teams.
- Perform invoice and account receivable reconciliations to maintain billing accuracy.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Support the cash application process through research and reconciliation.
- Participate in initiatives to improve financial processes.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and cost or schedule development.
- Familiarity with contract compliance and negotiation.
- Experience with customer or management reporting.
Location & details#
- Location: Palm Bay, Florida.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, meaning you work 80 hours over nine days and have every other Friday off.
