About the role#
L3Harris is hiring an intern to support the finance team in Plano. You will work on financial functions related to business acquisitions and program execution. This role involves communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and billing.
What you'll do#
- Manage financial tasks for business acquisitions and program execution.
- Process invoices to ensure they meet contract terms and deadlines.
- Guide the contracts department on billing and act as a financial point of contact for customers.
- Reconcile invoices and accounts receivable to maintain billing accuracy.
- Support internal and external audits and help with process improvement projects.
- Assist with the cash application process through research and reconciliation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Experience working with SAP.
- Knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and cost or schedule development.
- Familiarity with contract compliance and negotiation.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Plano, Texas.
- The role is on-site and full-time.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
