About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2026 term. You will work on the planning, analysis, design, testing, and evaluation of complex systems. This role provides hands-on experience across the full systems engineering lifecycle, including technical problem-solving and customer-focused engineering tasks.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and develop concepts of operations.
- Create design and implementation plans.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Conduct tests and document your results.
- Analyze system requirements from end users and internal systems.
- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and project status.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware troubleshooting to support system designs and architectures.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, or system performance modeling.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
Location & details#
- Location: Greenville, Texas.
- Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- Work schedule: The team operates on a 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
