About the role#
This internship involves performing operational analysis and supporting the design, integration, and testing of complex system solutions. You will work with internal teams and external customers to evaluate requirements and build system architectures. This is a full-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
- Analyze system requirements provided by end users and systems.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Conduct tests and document your findings.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware troubleshooting techniques.
- Create and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and project status.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework in systems engineering.
- Experience in systems architecture, systems analysis, and design.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Palm Bay, Florida.
- The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
