About the role#
As a Quality Engineer Intern, you will focus on problem solving events and managing the Zero Defect Project. Your goal is to lower the Cost of Poor Quality at the site. You will work across departments including Production, Engineering, Program Office, Planning, Quality, and Training on a daily basis.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement quality processes using statistical quality control and analysis.
- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Program Management teams to maintain quality standards.
- Identify root causes for products or materials that fail to meet specifications.
- Implement corrective actions to address non-conformance.
- Write inspection procedures.
- Review in-process rejections and help determine product dispositions.
- Analyze factory quality performance and assist Operations Engineers with improvement plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, or Quality Management.
- Experience working with Excel.
- Knowledge of quality procedures.

- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: 4/10 shift, Monday through Thursday.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
