About the role#
The Quality Engineer Intern focuses on problem solving and managing Zero Defect projects to reduce the cost of poor quality at the site. You will work with Production, Engineering, Program Office, Planning, Quality, and Training teams on a daily basis.
What you'll do#
- Create and apply quality processes using statistical control and analysis.
- Work with Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to ensure standards are met.
- Find the root cause when products or materials fail to meet specifications and carry out corrective actions.
- Write inspection procedures and help review in-process rejections.
- Study factory quality performance and work with Operations Engineers to build improvement plans.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, or Quality Sciences.
- Experience using Excel.
- Knowledge of quality procedures.

- This role is located in Waco, Texas.
- The work schedule is 4/10, Monday through Thursday.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
