About the role#
The Technical Sales & Consulting Internship Program is a 12-week paid opportunity designed to build your professional, technical, and sales skillsets. You will work with manufacturing customers to improve their productivity through our solutions. Interns are placed in one of our field sales offices across the United States. You will participate in a mix of in-person, online, and on-the-job training. Depending on your track, you will focus on business development, account management, or technical consulting.
What you'll do#
- Business Development Representative track: Develop and qualify new sales opportunities. You will coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to create targeted strategies for new business and expansion. You will engage with customers via phone, email, and online remote meetings.
- Account Manager track: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet goals and grow market share. You will work with customers in person.
- Technology Consultant track: Serve as a technical resource for our portfolio. You will communicate the benefits of our products to customers through a mix of face-to-face and online remote meetings.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or beyond.
- Enrollment as a full-time student for at least one semester following the internship.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

- Modality: Hybrid. Employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
