About the role#
We are offering a 3-month internship in Mechanical Engineering at the Rio Tinto Kennecott operation in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot mechanical assets and associated systems.
- Perform maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Manage mechanical assets.
- Work with conveyors, grinding mills, pumps, valves, and motors.
- Maintain hydraulics, tanks, pressure vessels, and piping.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Current enrollment as a student at a recognized American university.
- Legal right to work full-time in the United States.
- A valid Driver’s license.
