About the role#
The Rotating Equipment Co-op/Intern supports plant reliability and maintenance efforts. You will assist with daily tasks and projects focused on mechanical equipment like pumps, compressors, and turbines. Working under experienced engineers, you will help identify improvement opportunities and contribute to solutions that enhance plant performance.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and report on equipment condition using vibration analysis, oil analysis, and process data.
- Maintain documentation and records for the Mechanical Integrity program.
- Participate in technical investigations of equipment failures and suggest ways to prevent recurrence.
- Develop, review, and update maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance programs.
- Assist with planning and executing maintenance activities during routine work and shutdowns.
- Support the Management of Change (MOC) process for equipment changes.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to gather information, perform calculations, and present findings.
- Communicate with plant personnel, vendors, and contractors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to perform field work in an operating plant environment.
- Previous co-op or intern experience is preferred.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
