About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026. You will join our team in Millersville, Maryland, to support the production of high-reliability electronic hardware. This role focuses on the manufacturing of tactical satellite equipment, including surface mount technology assembly, mechanical integration, and environmental testing.
What you'll do#
- Write process procedures and establish work instructions for production lines.
- Oversee non-conformance reviews and carry out engineering changes.
- Maintain labor standards and monitor process controls.
- Assist senior engineers with new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to transfer products from engineering to production.
- Track manufacturing performance and participate in daily shift huddles.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- Experience with soldering or basic electronic manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo.
- Ability to work on-site in Millersville, Maryland.

- Location: Millersville, Maryland.
- Schedule: This role operates on a 9/80 schedule, meaning you will work 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Term: Summer 2026.
