About the role#
L3Harris is seeking an intern to join our finance team in Melbourne, Florida. You will support financial functions related to business acquisitions and program execution. This role involves working with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy.
What you'll do#
- Manage financial tasks for business acquisitions and program execution.
- Set up, validate, and generate complex invoices for customers.
- Ensure all invoices are processed according to contract terms.
- Provide billing guidance to Contracts and Program Finance teams.
- Perform reconciliations for invoices and accounts receivable.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist with the cash application process through research and reconciliation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
Location & details#
- Location: Melbourne, FL.
- Work schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours worked over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
